Classic healing

Wash your tattoo with clean hands 2-3 times daily with unscented antibacterial hand soap. Pat dry with paper towel.

For the first 3-4 days, use a thin layer of aquaphor to keep the skin moisturized. You do not want your tattoo to be sticky, just enough to keep it from being too dry. If you apply too much, pat off with paper towel. Do not use aquaphor for more than a few days, as it can clog your pores.

Once your tattoo begins to flake, it is time to switch out the aquaphor, for unscented lotion. Continue to wash twice a day with your unscented antibacterial hand soap, and apply lotion as needed.

This is the itchy stage.

DO NOT ITCH OR PICK AT YOUR TATTOO, as it will pull the ink out.

Continue this routine for about 3 weeks, or until your tattoo feels like your normal skin again
